India's growth and questions????

What is that changing in India is indeed a bad question, one must ask what is not changing in India and the simplest answer would be the condition of marginalized section of India?

If one can remember when was the Last time that he/she felt proud of our country, it is when we got to know that there is a Growth in India’s GDP or at that time when we heard about decline in welfare scheme.
Hurray!!! Our children will be going to study in International Dhirubhai Ambani’s school or any private school because our government started demolishing public schools. India launches several rural development programs but do you think that it works. Thousand of our small farmers are committing suicide. Are we even bothered that since 1997, as many as 40,000 farmers have committed suicide due to indebtedness? But do we remember something about India’s economy, it can be described in the following line India is Shinning but Bharat is dying.
The health of India is in an equally abysmal shape. This is reflected in persistent malnourishment of children, very slow reduction in infant mortality and maternal mortality. India today allocates lower than one per cent gross domestic product (GDP) to health. According to United Nations calculations, India’s spending on public health as a share of GDP is the 18th lowest in the world.
Religious intolerance, racial slur, caste discrimination and deprivation – all exists in India!
